According to a CCF Group analysis, spandex exports from China increased by 32% from January to September 2021, compared to a 29% increase in 2019. Turkey remained the most important export market. Turkish, South Korean, Taiwanese, and Egyptian spandex exports accounted for 40% of total exports. From January to September 2021, Chinese spandex exports to Columbia, Turkey, Bangladesh, Taiwan, and India increased from 63 to 134 percent. Chinese spandex is mostly exported from Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Chongqing, Henan, and Shandong. From 2016 to 2023, the worldwide spandex market is expected to develop at a CAGR of more than 8%.
